Make AI part of how you work.

One-on-one coaching that starts where you are. We build real AI skills through small experiments on your actual work. You’ll learn how to use AI well, and just as important, when not to use it.

Free. 15 minutes. No pitch. We figure out if I can help.

Why people come to me

Most people I work with arrive in one of three places:

You tried AI and it didn’t stick.

You gave it a shot, it didn’t click, but sitting this one out doesn’t feel like an option.

You use it, but you know you’re skimming the surface.

It writes your emails and summarizes your meetings. You can feel there’s more, and you don’t know how to get to it.

You lean on it more than you’d like.

It’s become the first place you go to think, but you feel like you might be using it a little too often.

How we work

1.

Start with your actual work.

We look at what you do all day, where the friction is, and what you want to be different. That tells us where AI might fit, and where it won’t.

2.

Run small experiments.

We pick one real task and try AI on it together. You see what it does well and where it falls down. We keep what works and drop what doesn’t.

3.

Build the skill so it sticks.

Each experiment leaves you with something you can do on your own. Over time that becomes judgment. You’ll know what to hand to AI, what to keep for yourself, and how to get good results either way.

How I think about AI

I built a framework for thinking about how AI integrates into work and life. It has three modes:

Automate.

AI does the work for you.

Augment.

AI amplifies you. You do things you couldn’t do alone.

Enable.

AI teaches you. You learn and build new skills of your own.

Most people focus on automation. The real value comes when you bring the three modes together and find the combination that fits your work.

About me

I’ve spent 18 years building products used by millions of people, from the Chopra meditation app to the SoulCycle at-home bike. I led teams, founded and sold a company, and today I teach AI at the University of Kansas as Innovator in Residence.

I use AI every day, and with it I build things I never could have built on my own. The evidence is in the Lab. When we work together, that daily practice is what you’re drawing on.

I also hold a Master’s in Clinical Social Work and am pursuing full clinical licensure, which shapes how I coach. There’s often some fear wrapped up in this work, about staying relevant, about being behind. There’s room for that here. Coaching with me is not therapy, and if you need more than coaching, I’ll say so.

Who this is for

This is for you if:

  • You want AI to be genuinely useful in your work, wherever you’re starting from
  • You want skills and judgment, not someone else’s prompts
  • You’d rather try things on your real work than watch another video
  • You want capability that outlasts the hype

This probably isn’t for you if:

  • You want someone to build it all for you
  • You’re looking for the hack that changes everything by Friday

Things people ask before booking.

Do I need to be technical?

No. We start wherever you are, including zero.

Which AI tools will I learn?

The ones that fit your work. Tools change every few months, and chasing them is part of what exhausts people. The judgment you build is what lasts.

Can’t I just learn AI from AI?

You can learn a lot that way, and we’ll set you up to do exactly that. The limit is that it’s hard to get good help when you don’t know what you don’t know. Coaching closes that gap faster, and then the AI becomes a genuinely good teacher.

How is this different from a course or YouTube?

Content gives you information. Coaching gives you a plan, the skills, and someone working the problem with you, on your actual work. That’s what makes it stick.

What happens on the 15-minute call?

We talk about what you’re working on and whether I’m the right person to help. No pressure and no pitch. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll say so.

What does it cost?

It depends on what you need. We’ll talk about it on the call. The call itself is free.

Let’s talk.

If you’re ready to make AI part of how you work, grab 15 minutes. We’ll figure out where you are and whether I can help.
